Deformed Bar

The deformed bar is a reinforcing bar made with a pattern of indentations or ridges, producing higher durability, reliability, and a better bond between the bar and the concrete. It has a 10–44 mm diameter and a length of either 10 and 12 m. It is suitable for reinforced concrete structures that require high durability, such as bridges, condominiums, buildings, and dams.

There are 2 types of deformed bar: SD40 and SD50

Buying considerations of the deformed bar:

  1. The texture and surface should be smooth and clean, except the indentations and ridges part.
  2. The pattern and size of indentations are made evenly over the length of the bar.
